Arocs is a tough and uncompromising 18-48T truck range built for demanding operations, particularly in off-road environments. Available in 4x4, 6x4, 6x6 and 8x4 configurations, with an emphasis on robustness, Arocs is a popular choice in the construction industry, especially in tipper and cement mixer applications, and as a logging truck. Superior power and performance. Arocs trucks are powered by Mercedes-Benz highly economical and reliable, second-generation Euro 6 engines – the OM470 and OM471 – covering four displacement categories, from 7.7L to 15.6L, and a total of 18 power output ratings, from 238hp (175kW) to 625hp (460kW), with up to 3000Nm maximum torque.

PowerShift 3. The Mercedes PowerShift 3 automated transmission delivers superior handling and enhanced fuel economy through fast, precise gear selection. High-ratio reverse gears ensure easy manoeuvring, while pulling away from standstill is noticeably more comfortable thanks to the ‘Crawl’ function. Depending on the application, ‘Off-Road’ and ‘Power’ provide enhanced performance.
16-speed manual gearshift. Arocs is also available with a 16-spd double H transmission, designed for smooth shifting and negligible power interruption.
Turbo retarder clutch. An optional turbo retarder clutch, capable of generating breaking power of 476hp, guarantees precise and wear-free operation with maximum traction, even at low speeds.
